Abigail Goodrich

I have wanted to be a photographer for as long as I can remember. I started photography as a 4-H project while I was still in elementary school. I entered photos into local, county and regional contests. My photos did well and won prizes, and I loved the feedback from the judges. I grew up on a sheep farm in a small town in Vermont at the end of a dirt road. I love Vermont, with the endless array of subjects to photograph on our farm. There are sheep, lambs, cows, ducks, roosters, chickens, horses, and two working sheep dogs. There is the incredible beauty that is all around the farm. My small rural community is filled with interesting, down to earth people to photograph.

I am happy photographing a wedding or a County Fair, a senior portrait or an old barn. I want to capture the special, the surprising, the exciting, or the simple moments that are our lives. I love my camera and seeing the world through it.
